CASAFARI has a great opportunity available for a mid-level DevOps Engineer, working on a Remote basis from anywhere in Europe. Do you have a deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure management. Do you have strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. As a DevOps Engineer at CASAFARI, you will be responsible for streamlining and automating the development, deployment, and operational processes. This position requires a blend of software development and IT operations expertise to manage the full software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. You will also be responsible for optimising infrastructure, and enhancing the performance and scalability of our CRM platform. You will be expected to be proactive, self-taught, and independent, capable of identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions with minimal supervision.

Some of the responsibilities that are aligned to this position:

  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and other scripting languages to automate system tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Manage infrastructure using tools to ensure repeatable and reliable deployments.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and support their operational needs.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, patching, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, workflows, and systems configurations.

And the skills we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar;
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Expertise in using Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform and its core services.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for managing infrastructure as code and provisioning cloud resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (optional).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, along with any other European languages.
  • Located in Europe.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
